| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the challenges of the European Union (EU) in securing long-term energy supplies, and discusses the need for the European foreign policy agenda that emphasize the energy security. It discusses Europe's energy dependencies on external energy sources, and the need for diplomatic relationships with energy producers in view of an increased domestic demand in producer countries, resource nationalism, and the production shortfalls due to the global financial crisis. |
