The article provides informations regarding management advisory services, highlighting on its role among accountants. Some of the points tackled are the following: the importance of good information as the basis for good business advice; the need to make accountants sort through all the client's data in order to have a valued advice; the need to identify problems and help solve them including poor inventory tracking systems, lack of information about the most profitable customers and salespeople and inadequate billing procedures.
