The article offers information on the sixth paper of the Taxonomic Sub-Committee of the British Ornithologists' Union (BOU) Records committee relating to the British List in Great Britain. It mentions that positions of major passerines groups has been clarified which prompted the revision of the sequence of the passerines on the British List. It notes that the taxonomic sequence is identified according to the principle that the less-speciose group must be listed first. |
