Abstrakt: The article offers insights on how to ride a horse with control and awareness. The author relates that Pilates is about core strength that promotes proper posture and balance and teaches body awareness. She adds that Pilates helps build strength and teaches how to use the body efficiently. The author warns that without body control the rider risks losing balance when using the leg or rein aids during transitions.
