The article offers information on the relationship between trauma from occlusion (Tfo) and periodontal disease. The link between Tfo and periodontal disease began in 1901 and studies had been conducted to show evidence of the relationship. However, research results had indicated that not Tfo, but plaque is the major cause of periodontal diseases. |
