The article presents an interview with Tom Silva, a building contractor. When asked what homeowners can do to make working with a contractor go smoothly, he said one should look for a contractor whose personality is a good match for yours. According to him, expensive materials and finishes should be the first things to go to reduce the cost of a project. He also stated that water is the enemy and it should not pool around the foundation. |
