The article presents information about the report which was generated at the International Conference on Behavioral Health and Traumatic Brain Injury from October 12-15, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. The public awareness about the traumatic brain injury (TBI) is at the peak in the U.S. In the U.S., 1.4 million civilian TBI cases occur each year and around 320,000 soldiers deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq have sustained a brain injury while on duty. |
