Abstrakt: | The article discusses the oxymoronic expressions of author Samuel Beckett in the scripts of his television plays such as the "Ghost Trio" and "But the Clouds..." The author predicts that Beckett's expressions may be nonsensical and imperceptible though they exist in textual level. However, he points out that they can neither be represented nor perceived. He contends that they testify to the instances at which transference from text to audiovisual medium breaks down. |
