The article highlights the transformation of the American Fuchsia Society's San Jose Branch judged show from a dwindling traditional trade show into a fun success. Instead of just canceling their Westgate Mall showcasing fuchsia species, members decided to set up garden scenes like an old bicycle transforming into a plant stand, Fuchsias and Baker's shelves made into half basket stands surrounding two water fountains. It was deemed a success that fuchsias were sold out in the middle of the afternoon of June 20, 2009. |
