Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the role of chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 (CCR5) and its ligands in inflammatory cell enlisting into the joint. The study induces arthritis to wild-type and CCR5-deficient mice by immunizing with human proteoglycan (PG) in adjuvant, and measures the chemokines and cytokines expressions through enzyme-linked immunosorbent. Result shows that the increase in arthritis intensity in CCR5-deficient mice linked with high level of chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 5 (CCL5).
