The article presents poster presentations on obstetric technologies. The limitations of human fingers in assessing fetal head station, position and cervical dilation were presented by Dan Farine et al. Dorit Hochner and colleagues designed an alternative method to monitor birth progress while overcoming the disadvantages of manual examination. Barak Rosenn et al, described an ultrasound-based computerized labor monitoring system. |
