| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the importance of a method for limiting-induced vibrations on an offshore production riser. It states that the fatigue due to vibrational modes from vortex shedding is an important factor to reduce the service lifetime of oil-drilling platforms. In addition, the method also reduces the amplitude of vibrations. |
