The article reports on the use of peridotite rocks to cure climate change. It states that scientists have longed known that peridotite act as a carbon sponge through sequencing carbon dioxide in a limestone like carbonate. Moreover, Columbia University scientists Peter Kelemen and Jürg Matter developed a process to enhance carbonation catalyst such as heat and pressure by supercharging the carbon storage capacity of the rock a mllionfold to suck up carbon emissions. |
