Abstrakt:	The article presents a literary review of available evidence for quality indicators (QI) that can be used to assess the treatment of visual impairment in vulnerable elders (VE). The review included 119 articles which proposed 11 quality indicators (QI) for vision impairment care for vulnerable older people. The authors concluded that appropriate treatment for visual conditions can reduce the prevalence of visual disability and improve quality of life in a large proportion of vulnerable elders.
