The article presents the highlights of the Cornbelt 24-Hour ultrarunning races held in Iowa in May 2009. Michael Adams, Dann Fisher and Juli Aistars were ahead of others in the first phase of the race. Adams completed the 50-mile race in 7:11 followed by Fisher in 8:20, Patrick McCartney in 8:43 and Aistars in 8:47. Joe Timmsen won the third place in the 100-mile event. |
