The article dicusses various reports published within the issue including one by Dan Gould on an analysis of the phenomenon of athlete burnout,from the perspective of sport psychology, to determine the compatibility of athletic excellence and good health, another by Ron Zernicke on the nature and prevalence of sport injuries among women athletes and one by Matthew J. Mitten on legal and ethical issues related to institutional decisions to prevent participation for health reasons. |
