The article offers information regarding the English proverb "Truth is the daughter of time," which was mentioned by David Hacking during the annual conference of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) held in February 2009 in Zurich, Switzerland. The author imparts that during his initial research on the English proverb, he found out that the proverb originated in Zurich during World War II. The author notes that the text of "Attic Nights" offers some leads on the true origin of the proverb. |
