The article discusses the highlights of the annual meeting of the Dakota Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS) held in Bismarck, North Dakota from February 23 to 25, 2009. The awards offered by the society at the event have been dominated by the students at South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings. The Distinguished Professional Service award has been given to Will Sayler. Greg Simpson has been elected secretary/treasurer of the chapter. |
