| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the motorcycle helmet standard imposed by the Snell Memorial Foundation on the M2010 helmet. It notes that the organization has taken into consideration the suggestions from the periodical "Motorcyclist" and from critics in creating the new standard. It adds that the new helmet safety standard has become more closely in line with similar standards in the U.S. and the United Nations. Changes in the standard include the drop in the maximum grams (g) allowable in headform testing from 300g to 275g. |
