Presents a study which analyzed the change in topology of an isobaric and isoplethic section to clarify the phase-equilibria constraints on the existence of a mineral assemblage arising from an increase in silicate liquid. Use of constraints in the analysis of phase equilibria in the section; Implications for the problem of crystallization trends of mafic layered intrusions. |
