An interview with author Junot Díaz is presented. When asked about his teaching on reading a book, he comments that when teaching someone what to look for and how to see a story, it is like teaching them good grammar of the story. He remarks that his interest in grammar comes from the fact that he is a product of Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. He mentions that the University's linguistics department was founded by the students of Noam Chomsky, a linguistic and author. |
