Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the Spanish translation, by Aragonese professor Victorián de Villava, of the "Lezioni di commercio," an economic treatise written by Antonio Genovesi from 1765 to 1767 and which influenced economic education in Spain during the reign of King Carlos III. It affirms that the translation, titled "Lecciones de comercio, o bien de Economía Civil," was the first and most significant educational text on political economy in 18th century Spain. |
