Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on exposure assessment of phthalate esters through urinary metabolite analysis in pregnant women in Japan. Researchers analyzed nine metabolites of seven phthalate esters in spot urine samples of pregnant women using liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. They compared intra- and interindividual variation in urinary metabolites by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). The result found high rates of phtalate ester metabolites in 50 subjects.
