Abstrakt:	Information about the 10th International Congress of Dermatology which was held in March 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic is presented. Topics at the event include the origins and purpose of the Marian Durán Committee, life and achievements of Maria Durán, and the effect of the description of this physician after whom the Committee was named. Speakers at the event include Dr. Evangeline Handog, professor Rafael Falabella, and Dr. Marieke Bolling.
