Abstrakt:	The article presents a forecast by the research firm Business Monitor International Ltd. (BMI) on the construction industry in Great Britain in third quarter of 2009. According to BMI, there will be a 13.44% contraction in the sector, because the economy relied too much on the financial services industry, which experienced recession. Its states that BMI also predicted a negative growth of -7.12% for 2010, while positive growth will return by 2011.
