Focuses on the measurement of absolute cross-sections and rate coefficients for the dissociative recombination of the cyanogen ion, CN[ra +] with electrons using a heavy ion storage-ring. Energy dependencies found for the cross sections; Resonant structure exhibited by the energy domain 0.1-0.3 eV; Branching fraction over the final atomic product states. |
