Information about topics discussed during the inaugural Dog Bite Symposium organized by the Australian Veterinary Behavior Interest Group (AVBIG) and sponsored by the Australian Companion Animal Council is presented. The event focused on educational programs which have been designed and implemented in Australia. The event also included education through enlightening owners about the unique responsibility they have when getting a dog, more than just meeting their feeding and housing requirements. |
