| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the increase in hardness of flexible materials used in somatoprosthesis. It notes that the use of somatoprosthesis has limited success in its application due to disadvantages in the behavior of the material used. It discusses the materials used in the construction of somatoprosthesis such as audiflex, rapidaflex, silastic 382 RTV Medical Grade Elastomer, and the PVC Cordo and PVC Cordo 50 and the influence of aging on these materials. It reveals that some of the materials experience more from the influence of aging than others. |
