| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which examines the impact of immediate polishing procedures on dental amalgam. It reveals that immediate polishing does not affect the amalgam restorations made from gamma 2-free alloys rather it eliminates marginal excess which sustains the life of the restoration. It suggests to make careful actions during the polishing procedure to prevent the occurrence of heat particularly with amalgam condense. It is expected that there will be more dentists who will adopt the procedure due to its effectivity. |
