| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information on the nonparallel horizontal pin splinting technique in periodontal treatment. This technique is used to provide splinting and prosthetic replacement. The advantages of this technique includes permanent stabilization of loose teeth, esthetic improvement of teeth, and requirement of very few special instruments. For this treatment the teeth should fulfill a number of conditions including healthy peridontal tissues, good condition of teeth with few restorations and enough room between the incisal edge and the pulp. |
