The article focuses on the recent trends in Mexico's banking sector, and presents banking related forecasts for various countries, surveyed by Business Monitor International Ltd. (BMI). It reports the procedure followed by BMI in generating banking forecasts, and mentions the growth in total bank assets, loans, and deposits of the surveyed countries. It also compares the ratios of loan to deposits, gross domestic product (GDP) and assets of several countries including the U.S., Peru, and Chile. |
