The article presents a research which determined the maximal dose tolerance of Samarium-153 ethylendiaminetetramethylene phosphoric acid (Sm-DTMP) in treating patients with high-risk osteosarcoma. The result found that the maximally tolerated dose of Sm-DTMP is 44.8 megabecquerel. Furthermore, the data from the study support the development of future trials to assessing combined targeted radiotherapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy. |
