| Abstrakt: | The article looks at the strategy used by authorities at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec in creating an anti-hazing policy. Incidents of hazing committed by school athletes prompted officials to introduce an anti-hazing policy. A working group was formed to discuss the hazing issue and to develop a policy and an amendment to the student conduct code in order to address the issue. The policy encourages students who think they are hazing victims or witnesses to approach the dean's office. |
