| Abstrakt: | This article offers an overview of the thesis "Cheng Ho's Adventures in Ming Drama and Novel," by Roderick Ptak of the University of Heidelberg in Germany. The thesis comprises two parts. The first part provides a translation of the play "T'ien-Ming San-Pao Hsia Hsi-Yang." The second part examines the novel "San-Pao T'ai-Chien Hsia Hsi-Yang Chi T'ung-Su Yen-I," by Lo Mou-teng. |
