| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on a study which evaluates the models of the polulation pharmacokinetics for the individual dosage of amikacin in patients who are critically ill. It says that data from 51 adult patients at the medical intensive care unit (ICU) of the University Hospital in Salamanca, New York were gathered and analyzed using the SPSS software. Results show that covariates such as Apache II score or sepsis diagnosis influences the amikacin dosage to be administered. |
