The article presents information about a study related to examining the design and quality of the occlusion of extensive dental amalgam restorations on molars and comparing them with healthy unrestored parts of the molars. Extensive amalgam restorations placed on molars during several clinical trials on amalgam and posterior composite resin restorations at the University of Nijmegen were used during the study. The restorations were made using traditional restorative procedures and high-copper amalgam alloys. |
