Abstrakt: The article focuses on a clinical classification of teeth root furcation involvements based on pulp chamber-furcation relationships and vertical radiographic bone loss. The long-term evaluation of the treatment of furcal disease depends on precise original diagnosis of the extent of this disease. The ability to treat furcations through root resection or other methods depends on the relationship between the furcal region and the dental pulp and also on the vertical loss of bone in the furca with respect to the remaining root in the bone. It can be found that the pulp chamber occupies the middle one-third part of the tooth on examining sectioned upper and lower molars through the chamber.
