Abstrakt: Reports on the sequence of the largest chromosome from the genome of the flowering plant Arabidopsis thaliana, which has five chromosomes. Description of the sequence of chromosome 1, in two contigs of around 14.2 and 14.6 megabases; Clusters of transfer RNA genes at different places on the chromosome; Mention that chromosome 1 contains about 300 gene families with clustered duplications.
