The article focuses on the use of the visible light cured resin to place overdenture attachments. In the technique, abutment teeth are prepared to receive the metal female component. With the help of the zinc phosphate cement, the metal female components were cemented in the abutments. The nylon male attachments were placed in the abutment teeth with the help of the centering sleeve. The overdenture is then placed in the mouth and the openings in the denture are evaluated to assure that there is enough room around the male attachment base. |
