Abstrakt: The article focuses on the anatomical position of the restorative alveolar interface. The attachment or junctional epithelium like the sucular epithelium is thin, unkeratinized and lacks epitherlial ridges. Capilaries course close to the attachment epithelium and may form connective tissue invaginations, which bring the blood supply into more intimate contact with it. The sucular epithelium is continuous with the junctional epithelium that abuts on the tooth surface. The basal cells of the two epithelial lies side by side on a basal lamina common to both.
