Abstrakt: The article focuses on the possibility of central nervous system (CNS) injury in children who have suffered trauma to the face, teeth, or supporting structures. It is suggested that a dentist should be alert to the possibility of a brain injury in a child who has suffered dental injury. Some symptoms of brain injury include vomiting, headache, post-traumatic amnesia, and hypertension. Brain damage might also be indicated by pinpoint and fixed pupils. Craniocerebral traumatic injuries include concussion, contusion, brain laceration and hematoma, and skull fracture. Injuries might cause an epidural hematoma, which is the accumulation of blood between the dura mater and the inner table of the skull.
