Abstrakt: The article focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of oral manifestation of AIDS. The most common oral manifestation of AIDS is that of oral candidiasis. In this, a white, yeast-like plaque is formed on the tongue and oral mucosal tissues. It is suggested that dentists should be aware of early diagnosis and transmission factors in people who are at high risk of AIDS or AIDS-related complex (ARC). In male homosexuals, an oral manifestation of AIDS was found in the form of oral hairy leukoplakia. In a study it was found that 58% of AIDS patients with Kaposi's sarcoma also had oral manifestations of vascular neoplasm.
