Abstrakt: The article focuses on the antivascular therapy (AVT) as treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in the U.S. It says that patients with RCC treated with AVT had better performance status. It also says that antivascular therapy is effective in controlling existing sites of disease than it is at preventing new metastases. Moreover, patients with stable disease on antivascular therapy had shorter progression-free survival compared with complete responses.
