The article presents an analysis of the text of the 136-word Soviet Politburo resolution dated December 4, 1934. The analysis aims to test the authenticity of the resolution which focuses on the assassination of Sergei M. Kirov, a follower of former Supreme ruler of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin. Kirov was highly recognized by many people in the Bolshevik circles. The resolution described the Political Bureau, Russian Politicheskoye Buro (Politburo) in the aftermath of Kirov's assassination in 1934. |
