Abstrakt: The article discusses the differential diagnosis and early treatment of the general categories of Class II patient. When teeth are in Class II relationship, maxillary aveolodental protrusion occurs. Other Class II relationships conditions include mandibular retrognathism and maxillary skeletal prognathism. Early treatment of Class II patient is described as the management of the occlusion and skeletal pattern before most of the permanent dentition has erupted. In addition, early Class II treatment lets dentists maximize the advantage of growth, improve skeletal patterns and correct the relationship between the maxilla and mandible.
