Abstrakt: The article focuses on the anatomic variations of the anterior teeth that are important to ceramic restorations of the anterior region. The external anatomy of the teeth has five areas namely the incisal edge, mesioincisal and distoincisal angles, the contact areas, the contour line, and the cervical line. The incisal edge, which is the straightest in the central incisor, is characterized by pronounced tapering that begins and progresses to the lateral incisors and the canines. The cervical line is said to be horizontal in the central incisor and arches downward in the lateral incisor and canine.
