The Class III orthodontic patient: Treatment.

Abstrakt: The article describes a case report of a patient with Class III occlusion treated at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in which several treatment procedures were used. Information is presented on a clinical examination conducted on the 14-year-old while male patient whose chief complaint was a crossbite. General treatment objectives are enumerated, including correcting posterior crossbite. The article also discusses the initial treatment which involved using a Hyrax appliance for accelerated palatal expansion.
