Abstrakt: The article presents information on a study which investigated the possibility of achieving connective tissue attachment to correct recession with a guided tissue regeneration procedure by means of a polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) membrane and a fibrin fibronectin seal. It offers a brief overview of the mechanism of PTFE membranes and a fibrin-fibronectin sealing system. It explores the ANCOVA procedure applied to adjust for the possible influence of the differences between test and control. It reveals that the histometrlc analyses demonstrated an appreciable regeneration of a new connective tissue attachment on the test side.
