| Abstrakt: |
The article deals with a study, which aims to compare the healing process, as far as the regenerative capability of the periodontal ligament is concerned, using either resorbable or nonresorbable membrane. The study used three adult beagle dogs in good systemic health. The six experimental areas were divided into three groups, namely, control, Gore-Tex and Vicryl. The greatest difference was observed between the Gore-Tex and the control groups. The Vicryl group exhibited regenerative values less than that of Gore-Tex but significantly greater than the controls. |
