Abstrakt: Anomalous Hall effect measurement under a tilted magnetic field was applied to investigate the interlayer exchange coupling between the Co–Cr–Pt–SiO2 and Co–Cr–Pt layers of a composite perpendicular medium. The tilt of magnetization under the application of a tilted field detected selectively from the anomalous Hall voltage characteristics of the Co–Cr–Pt layer was influenced by the interlayer coupling effect. A magnetic anisotropy field term for the Co–Cr–Pt layer derived from the magnetization tilt characteristics increased with decreasing thickness of a spacer in between Co–Cr–Pt–SiO2 and Co–Cr–Pt layers, indicating the effect of increased interlayer exchange coupling.
